It was a night where couple of us had gone to the Address Hotel for the first time, two months back on 18th July. We wanted to catch up, have some drinks, share a few laughs. Had a ball of a time.
For me to get home, I was waiting for a taxi. When I said I want to go to Bur Dubai, he denied and said he was waiting for two ladies who got out to come back. After a couple of minutes of tussle, i got down and saw the asshole picking up some western middle aged man. I got furious and stood in frot of his taxi trying to argue he is unfair and unjust. He drove past me almost killing me and abused me.
I cannot forget the face of that maniac nor his tax number. It was a Metro Taxi : MT537. I called up RTA immediately and raised a complaint and got a call after two days that they have fined him. God knows if this is true.
This is the attitude of Taxi Drivers out here. Completely pissed me off. And the newspapers talk that “RTA has the best service”.

Sorry about the experience it has happened to me several times owing to the fact that im from Africa. RTA should do something about the racial attitude that the drivers are showing. if they dont like the job they should quit and give a chance to those who need the Job!

I took a taxi from trade center to go to satwa, but instead of the driver took a different way missing two exits which was on purpose. and when i asked him why he did that, he responded arogantly… “i forgot” i asked him to stop and i got off the taxi but i still had to pay. i took the receipt and his Drivers ID was 3201861 his car No was MT0269

complaint about the behavior of metro taxi driver . i was passing creek road toward deira city centre.on the road the taxi driver is going right side truck , exacly same position in my side . he is not front and rear, then suddenly he change the track come in the left side track without any indication then i shocked and apply sudden brake. the we met in next signal then i asked , why are driving so careless and he has passenger. ( family) .. he shout me and insulte . then he said to me go and do complaint whereever you want to do. i dont care… now is this rule for driving of taxi driver. please find taxi details.
